Terms of Service

By using Precis, you agree to these terms. We kept them short.

What Precis is

Precis is an independent research analyst for longevity. It reads what researchers say in public interviews on YouTube and reports what they said, with a link to the minute behind each claim.

Precis is not a medical provider. It does not give medical advice and does not replace your doctor. Talk to your doctor before you start, stop or change any supplement or health routine.

TrueStandard Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company, runs Precis. The laws of the State of Texas govern these terms.

Independence

  • No researcher, show, publisher, YouTube or Google is affiliated with Precis, and none of them endorses it.
  • We run no ads, take no sponsorship and use no affiliate links. No brand pays to be mentioned or scored.
  • The people who use Precis pay for it. Each verdict is our own review of what was said.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your login secure.
  • One account per person. No shared or duplicate accounts.
  • An account is free. The pricing page lists what it includes, and that list can change.

Pro subscription

  • $9/month or $79/year, billed through Stripe.
  • Cancellation stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

How we use AI

  • AI reads the interview transcripts and drafts the summaries our reports are built from.
  • Answers in Ask, chat and WhatsApp are written by AI, at the moment you ask, from the sources in our library.
  • AI can get things wrong. Answers link the interviews they draw on, so you can open the source and check.
  • A script checks every dose and form we publish against the transcripts before each release.

Our content

  • Reports are based on what researchers say in public interviews on YouTube.
  • We don't guarantee accuracy. Researchers change their minds, new research comes out, and our analysis has limits.
  • Talk to your doctor before you act on anything you read here.
  • Every claim links to the video and the minute, so you can check it yourself.

What you can't do

  • Scrape or bulk-download our data.
  • Redistribute reports or consensus data commercially.
  • Use the service to provide medical advice to others.
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free features.

Quotes, clips and intellectual property

  • Our reports, method and tools are our own work.
  • The interviews belong to the people and shows who made them.
  • We quote short excerpts of 20 seconds of tape or less, name who said each one, and link to the original video at that minute.
  • Clips play in YouTube's own player, and video thumbnails load from YouTube.

Limitation of liability

Precis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for health decisions made based on our content. You are responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your health regimen.

Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you've paid to Precis in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of Precis after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
