About

What is Precis?

We help people make evidence-based supplement decisions by synthesizing what top longevity experts actually agree on.

The problem

There are thousands of hours of health content from experts like Huberman, Attia, and Rhonda Patrick. Nobody has time to watch all of it. And when experts disagree — which they often do — it is hard to know who to trust or what the actual consensus is.

Precis solves this by analyzing what multiple experts say about the same topic, scoring how much they agree, and presenting the result as a clear consensus report with citations.

Who runs this

Precis is built by Arun Agrahri — a technologist applying data and technology to answer longevity questions. I started this project for myself. I follow Huberman, Attia, Patrick, and the rest — but I kept getting confused by conflicting advice across hundreds of videos. Which form of magnesium? Does creatine actually help cognition? Should I take melatonin or not?

I couldn't find a tool that cross-referenced what these experts actually agree on. So I built one. What started as a personal research project became Precis — and I'm sharing it because I think other people deserve the same clarity.

I am not a doctor, dietician, or licensed healthcare provider. I'm someone who takes longevity seriously and believes the answers are in the data, not the hype.

How reports are created

Every report follows the same process:

  1. Transcript collection — We pull and process transcripts from 3,400+ videos across 6 expert channels.
  2. AI-assisted summarization — Each video is summarized with stance extraction (recommends, cautious, disagrees) using structured prompts.
  3. Manual verification — Key claims are spot-checked against the original video timestamps to ensure accuracy.
  4. Consensus scoring — Each supplement is scored 0–5 based on how many of the 5 core experts independently recommend it. A 5.0 means all experts strongly agree.
  5. Report assembly — Expert stances, dosage protocols, citations, and areas of disagreement are compiled into a structured report.

Why these experts

We selected 6 channels based on three criteria: reach (millions of subscribers), depth (they discuss specific dosages, mechanisms, and protocols), and credibility (academic or clinical background).

Andrew Huberman Neuroscience, Stanford
Peter Attia Longevity medicine
Rhonda Patrick Nutritional biochemistry
Bryan Johnson Longevity protocols
Mark Hyman Functional medicine
Diary of a CEO Health experts & scientists

These channels feature 570+ guest scientists including Dr. Layne Norton, Dr. Matthew Walker, Dr. Andy Galpin, Dr. Darren Candow, Dr. Bill Harris, Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, and Dr. Stacy Sims. Their research and clinical expertise is what makes our consensus data credible.

How we stay current

Expert channels are refreshed monthly. When new videos are published, they are processed through the same pipeline — summarized, scored, and merged into existing reports. If an expert changes their stance on a topic, we flag it and update the consensus score. Stance changes are tracked so you can see how recommendations evolve over time.

What Precis is not

Precis is an information tool, not a medical provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. The content on this site is based on analysis of publicly available video content and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.

Always consult your healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or health protocol.
